
Meet the Team of Prairie Path Speech Therapy, Inc.
Mission Statement:
Prairie Path Speech Therapy, Inc. (PPST, Inc), is a group of credentialed, speech-language pathologists and developmental therapists, that work to facilitate and promote functional, total communication for all individuals. It is our goal to work alongside families to both celebrate achievements, as well as problem solve to facilitate effective communication and participation in family and peer routines. We meet individuals, caregivers and families in their natural environment, and work to obtain a tailored plan of care to work toward a variety of speech and language goals.
Jaclyn
Jaclyn (M.S., CCC-SLP/L) is the owner of Prairie Path Speech Therapy, Inc. Jaclyn earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida State University. Jaclyn has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including several multidisciplinary practices. Jaclyn is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Florida and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Jaclyn is also a credentialed evaluator and SLP with the Early Intervention program for the state of Illinois, which services children and families birth-3. In her spare time, Jaclyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and being outside running or biking.
Mycaleen
Mycaleen (M.A., CCC-SLP/L) earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and went on to Northern Illinois University for her Masters of Art in Speech-Language Pathology. With a deep interest in the pediatric population, Mycaleen is dedicated to providing functional family-centered communication and feeding therapies to early childhood and school-aged children. As an Illinois native, Mycaleen enjoys relaxing with a new book and learning fun recipes to share with others.
Anna
Katie
Katie (M.S., CCC-SLP/L) earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Illinois- Urbana Champaign in 2014. Katie works with children of all ages, in both Early Intervention and private clinic settings. In her free time, Katie enjoys playing with her three children, crafting, and traveling.
Hannah
Hannah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019. Hannah earned her Master’s Degree in Child Development with concentrations in Infancy & Administration and Trauma Informed Practice from the Erikson Institute in 2021. She found my passion for working with infants and toddlers to help support their developmental needs through play-based therapy by working in the Early Intervention program as a Developmental Therapist. Fun fact: Hannah love to travel and she has been to 13 different countries so far!
